Heat shield: Heat shield can prevent the trap from excessive heat loss in low temperature, wind and rain environment, which may cause the trap to operate too frequently.
Integrated drain valve: Drain valve can be installed on the filter cover as an option
How to maintain If a heat shield is installed, remove the shield first, then loosen the valve cover with a standard wrench. Be careful not to use an adjustable wrench or pipe clamp, otherwise the valve cap will be damaged. If the disc and valve seat surface are slightly worn, use abrasive paste and grind the disc and valve seat separately in an 8-shaped grinding motion. After grinding, clean the grinding fluid. When reassembling, the disc is located so that the groove surface contacts the valve seat surface, and tighten the valve cover.
