The steam-water separator is used in steam, compressed air and other gas systems to remove the water contained in the steam, air or gas system. The steam-water separator collects the separated water droplets along the inclined pipe wall and then discharges them from the bottom drain. The steam-water separator can ensure the dryness of the steam used in the equipment.

Air and other non-condensable gases can cause many problems in steam systems. Not only will the warm-up time be prolonged, but the temperature of the steam-air mixture will be lower than that of pure steam at the same pressure. Its principle is similar to that of a one-way valve. When the internal pressure of the system is lower than the atmospheric pressure, the vacuum breaker opens. The flanged check valve is designed and installed between flanges and is suitable for various fluids in process pipelines, hot water systems, steam and condensate water systems, etc. Note: The flanged check valve is not suitable for occasions with severe pulsation, such as the outlet of compressors.
