Wafer Check Valve

Working principle

A check valve is a valve that automatically opens and closes the valve disc depending on the flow of the medium itself to prevent the medium from flowing back. It is also called a non-return valve, one-way valve, reverse flow valve, and back pressure valve. It is a type of automatic valve.

Wafer check valves are designed to be installed between flanges and are suitable for various fluids in process pipes, hot water systems, steam and condensate systems.

Note: Wafer check valves are not suitable for applications with severe pulsation, such as compressor outlets.
