Work

The steam-water separator is used in steam, compressed air and other gas systems to remove the water contained in the steam, air or gas system. The steam-water separator gathers the separated water droplets along the inclined pipe wall and then discharges them from the bottom drain port.

The steam-water separator can ensure the dryness of the steam used in the equipment.

Materials Restrictions (carbon steel/stainless steel)
To ensure effective removal of condensate, it is necessary to install appropriate steam traps and air vents.
For steam, install FT float steam traps and AV air vents For compressed air/gas applications, install CA air traps Note: It is necessary to install an equalizing pipe between the CA trap and the main line or the top of the separator.
