Product Description

Design parameters Model 515: 260 bar
Model 515: 260 bar
Model 517: 420 bar

Selection Restrictions (Alloy) Installation Instructions
•Built-in stainless steel check valve (CV) Maximum operating pressure (PMO) @ maximum operating temperature (TMO)
• 513 type: 103bar @ 510℃
• 515 type: 124bar @ 510℃
• 517 type: 186bar @ 482℃
Keep the valve body vertical during installation to ensure vertical up and down movement of the bucket.

Operation in overheating condition For superheated steam
Under normal working conditions, what generally enters the inverted bucket steam trap is saturated steam and condensate. Superheated steam may also enter, but its speed is basically equal to the condensation speed of steam in the valve. Therefore, regardless of the superheat, the steam trap is always at saturated temperature (or slightly lower). Do not oversize the orifice; limiting the orifice size is advisable.
Specific ground discs and seats, as well as extended inlet pipes and check valves.
Provide a header pipe of sufficient diameter and length.
Provide sufficient length of inlet pipe to keep the trap below the main line.
Do not insulate the trap or inlet pipe.
