Pressure reducing valve installation

The long-term trouble-free operation of a steam pressure reducing station largely depends on the installation of key auxiliary equipment. Steam separators and steam traps ensure the steam entering the pressure reducing valve is dry; filters effectively prevent contaminants from entering, thus protecting the valve from premature wear; and shut-off valves and pressure gauges facilitate maintenance and adjustment.

Pipe selection

After steam is reduced in pressure by the pressure reducing valve, it expands, resulting in a higher flow velocity. The extreme flow velocity when flowing through the valve seat can make noise and erosion unacceptable. Therefore, its flow rate must be limited.

Self-acting pilot valve type pressure reducing valve

The 25P type pressure reducing valve uses a large-area diaphragm, capable of sensing minute changes in secondary pressure. It integrates low-pressure control, which is difficult to control with self-operated pressure reducing valves, as well as high flow rate and stable control.

Direct-acting pressure reducing valve

The SRV2S series pressure reducing valve is a compact and lightweight direct-acting pressure reducing valve. The valve disc and seat are made of stainless steel, and the pressure sensing uses an external pressure bellows, providing reliable durability. The SRV2S's wetted parts are made of stainless steel, making it ideal for applications in food processing machinery, medical equipment, and similar fields.
